Shopping for girls

It has taken several weeks but I began to notice that an old shop in downtown Newnan was beginning to receive a new look--one especially for little girls and teens. This shop on Jefferson Street on the same block as Redneck Gourmet's is extremely cute. It's so cute I decided it was worth a mention and also a visit.

I love the pink green and white paint used on the front of the building. Here's proof that a nice coat of paint can change an antique building to a trendy girl's retreat. I love all the pink.

The shop's front door is very welcoming and everything about it is cute, cute, cute.

The first thing I admired, besides the color are these window boxes. I love window boxes and these really set the tone and should be pretty all summer. The butterflies are perfect--along with the ones in the window.

The next one has cute curtains and American Girl dolls.

I walked inside and there is costume jewelry, bags, dolls, doll clothes and so much more. It's like little girl heaven.

I will take my granddaughter there as soon as I can.

I told me daughter, the mother of three sons and she just said, "Unfair!" I started to name a few shops for little guys but I just let it go.

Take your daughter, little sis, niece, or just any little girl you want to impress. There are items of all prices, from $2 on up. I don't think there is anything wrong with cute. Do you?

  1. I had been wanting to know what was in that store, so thanks for the report! It's ironic that I worked so close by but didn't have time to visit!
