Our garden diagram

Last year we made a partial diagram of our garden. We kept asking each other questions like, "What is in this row?" Sometimes we knew and sometimes we just walked around scratching our heads. Of course we eventually found out when the sprouts developed leaves, but not until then.

My sister decided not to repeat the inevitable question and answer sessions, so she made a garden diagram, as soon as things were planted. Now we don't have to wonder. If you want to see what we planted, just click on the diagram, above, to see a larger version.

I also thought it might be to make a down-loadable garden background so if you wish, you can make your own diagram. You can download a blank pdf to print and fill in with your own garden plantings. Choose from rectangular or square. Download the file by clicking on the link and print on an 8 1/2 x 11 sheet of paper. You will need to use a ruler and pen to fill it in, but this will be a pretty keepsake for your garden.

It is hard to remember what is planted from year to year and keeping a garden folder with all the relevant information is a big help. It would be a great time to make a garden keepsake book.
